Dealer Checklist for Transparent Advertising

The FTC recently sent warning letters to 97 dealership groups 
across the country. These letters reinforce a clear message: advertisements that tend to confuse or mislead consumers will not be tolerated. 

Even without new rules, existing law already prohibits 
advertisements that are deemed “unfair” or “deceptive.”
